Seminar about being a citizen

When my class adviser told me that I'll be attending a seminar on a Saturday all-day, I thought twice. I had been so busy this week and all I wanted to do was to rest on a Saturday. But since, I am the class president, I had to come. No choice.

All I thought was, it was gonna be a boring one or just a typical seminar wherein sleeping is the best thing to do. But man, I was so wrong! The seminar turned out to be one of the bests I've ever been to! Yup, I attended a seminar which mainly talked about a child's rights as well his responsibilities and duties as a citizen.

It was handled by our Guidance Counselor, who is also a teacher who's very close to my heart, Ma'am Noliza Pararuan. The first lecturer was her husband Mr. Arcie Pararuan. I was so suprised. They both have the same passion when it comes to God and bringing people on the right path.

The highlight of his lecture was sharing these 3 topics: Profile of the young, Ego Extension and Values clarification. Each topic was exerted very well.

He also shared these words of wisdom that will surely help me/us. I learned that every God's creation is to be treasured and respected.

•For every actions we make, we attach a personal meaning.
•Behind every decision we make indicated by a value.
•There is nothing better to be accepted for who you are.

The second lecturer was Scihi's favorite, I must say, Mrs. Sherry Joy M. Yrigan. She shared all about Behavior Management and how to act our age. She said that there's always a purpose for everything. And that, all the people are good. But the thoughts, words and motives become the bad.

She also shared the ABC's Behavior Management:
A-Antecedent
B-Behavior
C-Consequences

6 life skills to learn:
•Attachment
•Self-Regulation
•Initiative
•Problem solving
•Respect--(I have unique gifts and challenges and so others). True enough.

The last speaker was my Grade 7's Filipino teacher's daughter, Ma'am Helen Wycoco. Her daughter is a lawyer, Atty. Zeya May D. Wycoco. Gosh, she's so beautiful.

She introduced us the laws and the things we needed to avoid for us not to humiliate ourselves and our parents. Now, seriously, I am so afraid to do a bad thing after that seminar. LOL.

All in all, I had a great experience with my friends. This is truly one of the best seminars! Looking forward to the next one!

Operation: Break The Casanova's Heart

First and foremost, I won't be able to include pictures of the book right now because as soon as I finished reading the book, a friend of mine borrowed it. But, I'll edit this blog post and include some photos soon.

Yup, thank heavens! Alyloony also known as Aly Almario's greatest story, Operation: Break The Casanova's Heart is now officially a book! Yes, a published book of Summit Media, under Pop Fiction category.

I was so glad to see the outcome of the published book, really. Like some of you, I had already seen and read the Wattpad version of it last year. And, I must say, I was satistified by the book version. All of my favorite scenes and the scenes I could still remember were still there. Yup, it's worth your 175pesos. Honestly speaking.

My bestfriend gave it to me as her birthday gift and even though I was in classes, I couldn't take off my hands.. The book is like a journey. And once again, Stephen Cruz (the main guy character) made me feel the same kilig I felt when I read it on Wattpad. Hihihi!

Stephen and Naomi's love story never gets old. The contract's story never gets boring. I think, some of the reasons why teenagers nowadays love the story so much.

So, what are you waiting for?!? It is still available in all bookstores nationwide! The price of the book is 175pesos. If you already have it, buy it again and share the story to your loved ones most especially to your friends. A lot of lessons can be learned from the book itself also.

Alyloony, you did such a great great job there! Kudos!

It is really the best Casanova story for me.

KathNiel is love <3

KN. If you probably hear the word "KN", many meanings can be attached to it. But for MOSTLY Filipino teenagers, KN means  KathNiel. Yup, KATHryn Bernardo and daNIEL Padilla. The hottest and most popular loveteam of this generation. True enough.

There are so many loveteams now but for me, KathNiel is really one of the strongest and best loveteams. Why? Because the way they make the "kilig" is just natural. No artificial flavor. Just pure heart. <3 #anodaw But it's true.

One thing why I love about KathNiel is that they're just comfortable to each other. I mean, yeah, you must be comfortable to your ka-loveteam but like what I've said, they're just natural. One thing also why there are already million fans KathNiel has. Amazing, isn't it?

It is also suprising to see a good-girl-look-girl with a bad-boy-look-boy (don't get me wrong about that, trust me, DJ is the hottest male star ever). Alam mo yung tututukan mo talaga yung loveteam nila kasi may thrill. Right? :">

Kathryn is a simple girl but so beautiful. While Daniel is just.. Perfect. Everytime you see the both of them or just one of them, automatic na yata yung kikiligin ka agad kahit wala silang ginagawa eh. Aminin! :p

I don't know if they already confirmed their relationship but dude, I am praying they will end up together. Because they are so perfect together. Seeing KathNiel photos say it all.

We don't know how they really feel for each other because they only the ones who know, but I could conclude, they really love and care for each other. I think if they won't end up together (IF), they will be very good friends. As in.

I hope they will make more movies and teleseryes. But if they will be paired up to other, KathNiel fans will always be there. Even. Steady. True. Right? :)

To all KathNiel fans, I salute you for being so active all the times. The love you have for the both of them is amazing, no one could ever replace. Keep on supporting them and I know you guys will.

It is still not the 26th but advanced Happy KathNiel day, KNs! <3

Why I admire Kathryn Bernardo

All humans are made by God, that means they are all beautiful. But there are really some who are so blessed with a pretty face. Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo also known as Kath started in showbiz since she was a little girl up to now that she is already 17 years old, one year left of becoming a lady.

Personally, I really like almost everything about Kath, most especially her face and her eyes. Just like what my tita told us, "Yung mga mata niya are really mesmerizing." True enough. We all have our own definition of what "beautiful" is, we all have our standards but Kath is really beautiful in so many ways. We all know that in showbiz, as soon as you appear on TV, agad agad may Twitter fanpage ka na, diba? People will admire you, people will stalk you, people will know almost everything about you. But I admire Kath for being down to earth and accommodating towards her fans. We haven't met each other yet but seeing tweets from fans, they say it all.

I also admire Kath because of er gorgeous style and having the nicest clothes. Whenever she wears her RayBan aviators.. Sht, did I just see a goddess?! Her glamteam is wonderful. But with or without make-up, Kath is always beautiful.

I also admire her for not forgetting her studies. In fact, she does her best to balance her studies and showbiz career. What a perfect example to the youth! Even though, she already can provide her own needs still she aims to be a college graduate.

Tita Min Bernardo must be so proud of this girl. Her own family, actually. Her parents raised her so well.

Lastly, how could I forget, the sweetest and the kindest fandom! Everytime I tweet about Kath, they never fail to amuse me. They are so active and I can really feel the love they have for Kathryn! Hands down to you, guys. As I've said, Kath must be so proud to all of you. Continue supporting and loving her because honestly, you did a great decision of choosing her as your idol. No kidding.

I am afraid this will take so long now. Haha. Continue watching Got To Believe! Gosh, our lola really loves the teserye so much.

All the love for Kath!!! All hail to the Teen Queen! Love you, Kath and fans!!!

Thank God, I didn't have so low grades. I still have a home to sleep, don't worry.

Anyway, I'd like to share you this wonderful blessing God gave me. Last July, Total Girl Philippines asked TGs about a thing most tweens get worried about. I emailed them my answer then luckily they replied to me! I won't take this too long, afterwards, I got an email from them. Why you need to go to the #MillionPeopleMarch

First of all, I'm still a high school student. I am still under my parents' vision and I still need my parents so that I can get to school. And my parents need a work to help me provide my basic needs.. and wants, yeah. I don't have a work yet, I don't pay taxes yet, I don't need a work for my own living yet but I DO FEEL A LOT NOT JUST FOR MY PARENTS BUT FOR THE FILIPINO PEOPLE WHO WORK SO HARD JUST TO PROVIDE THEIR FAMILY'S NEEDS AND PAY TAXES PROPERLY. Walang halong ka-plastikan. Some parents still need to work abroad, some workers need to stay away from their family.

To tell you honestly, I don't know where and how this shit ever began but one's thing for sure: The Napoles family is a hypocrite. Why? Pictures say it all.

Yup, that is Jeane Napoles having fun at the MTV Movie Awards. Just the thought that she was with Justin Bieber is really unfair already. And yes, thanks to Saab Magalona for this blog post (spellsaab.com).

You get it? Your parents are busy working just to provide your needs and wants and to pay taxes properly then you see these pictures which Jeane Napoles enjoyed because of the 10 Billion Pork Barrel Scam. Nakakakoka.

So now, #MillionPeopleMarch will be happening in Luneta to finally abolish Pork Barrel. Shout for me, Filipino workers and pay taxes. This issue needs to end TODAY.

People need food, not pork barrel which is mainly bullshit.

I am a public school student and HONESTLY, there are a lot of attention the public schools need to get. Plus the public teachers.

Do you know who needs an explanation about this? Every single Filipino worker who has a clean job and pay things which needed to be paid.

President NoyNoy, let's see what you are gonna do. Sana matapos na 'to. Hanggang sanayan na lang ba talaga?

Happy National Heroes Day, by the way.

Bencab Museum!

Special thanks to my ate Jess for insisting us to visit the BenCab museum! To be honest, I am not really a fan of artworks. Even in school, when our teachers ask us to paint or to draw, I always fail. Though, I'm already a high school student, my drawings/paintings always look like they are drawn by a kinder girl. Or sometimes, the kinder girl's drawing is better than mine.  No kidding.

Anyway, as part of our Baguio trip LAST MARCH, as I've said earlier, my ate really insisted our titas and titos to visit the museum. She is really a fan of Ben Cab because when she was in college, she researched about his life and artworks.

Our whole family didn't go inside, though. It was only my ate, me, 3 cousins and tito. Some of the family members waited for us at the entrance. And as I've said, I'm not really a fan of artworks but when I went inside, wow. I was amazed! The paintings and sculptures were really amazing. The entrance fee (Php 100 per person) was super worth it.

So, I didn't waste the opportunity. I  took pictures of almost all the creations I've seen there.

But these paintings/sculptures were really my favorites.

So sorry if I wasn't able to take picture of its description! We were actually in a rush. But kuddos to all the painters who made these, even if I don't know you, I'm a forever fan.

(This one is actually my favorite. It says, "Wag mong damdamin ang mga bagay dahil ang mga bagay ay walang damdamin..")

I don't know if my ate was so lucky or what, but when we were about to leave, Ben suddenly came! Yes, I've got to admit, I became a fan after visiting his museum so I was starstruck-ed!
I wasn't able to have a picture with him (solo) but had a picture with him together with the whole family.
Of course, my ate won't let the opportunity pass. She had a picture with Ben!

I think I'm a forever fan. He's amazing! I promise, even if you're not a fan of art, you'll be amazed when you get there. Though, not all the paintings were made by him, the experience of visiting there was really worth it. It also has a souvenir shop wherein you can buy tshirts, notebooks etc. But if you really can't appreciate art, the museum has a coffee shop to eat & relax and also you can stay outside to inhale some fresh air and have an amazing mountain view.

It's located at Km. 6 Asin Road, Tadiangan, Tuba, Philippines.
Tel: (+63 74) 442 7165

Great art by the great artist.
