Loving life! <3

It's Christmas time... Wait what?! It's Christmas?! Yes yes, I also feel that way. It's like I just slept for a night and then woah, it's Christmas already. Am I having too much fun (because they say time flies when you're happy) or just days are getting pretty faster this time?

This year has been full of ups and downs (okay this is not yet a new year post), like my maturity got evolved. Kidding aside. I also proved the saying which is the more number you get in your age, the more problems you encounter. But after all, I'm happy. Yes I know, it's so easy to say but I really am. The problems I've had made me appreciate life the way I did before. They made me realize a lot of things. Made me realize the true meaning of life. Well, in the way that perspective changed. The experiences I've encountered are really my weapons in the future. They taught me something.

At the same time, I also feel blessed for all the gifts and blessings I've had. My new found friends, the opportunities which I wasn't expecting even in my wildest dreams. Also, this blog which made my comforter and best friend as well! Thank you for still reading this! I am expecting myself to update this a lot next year! ;)

More than the material things, let's not forget the true meaning of the season. More than receiving, let's give. Let's not forget that Christmas is about sharing all your blessings to others.

Have a Merriest Christmas!!! Enjoy the day with your loved ones! Don't forget to get fat. Hahaha! Love you all! Thank You, Jesus Christ! <3

Trying hard? Try harder!

Maybe some teenagers nowadays experience this so-called "discrimination" especially in school. There are times that people might say you're a trying hard gal whenever you try your best to get a high grade or look more beautiful. Yup, it feels like they're also saying they are only the ones who can get higher grades or look prettier. Though, there are some situations that trying hard can be a bad thing. For instance, your family is not that so rich and the budget just suits for your family and you want to be in the trend to the point that you're spending too much money, that's a no-no. Everyone must also know her limitations.

Here are some tips on how not to lose confidence and trust on oneself:

1. "Try and try until you succeed."
This may sound cliché but it is really true. Trying and failing over and over again is not a bad thing after all. Like what Michael Jordan said, after so many trials and failures, they became his weapons to finally succeed.

2. Believe in what you can do and most especially, believe in yourself.
If there's one person who knows you 101%, it's none other than yourself. Yup, you know yourself better than anybody else even your parents. Don't let opinions (specifically the bad criticism) fall you down. Don't let other people ruin your dreams. Believe and it's really true--you will achieve more than you imagine.

3. Don't live up to other people's expectations
This is actually a tough issue especially between a child and a parent. Of course, your parents, your family want the best for you and for your future. But the last say, the last choice (sometimes) is in your hands and mind. There is no problem when your mama wants you to become this, achieve that, visit this, have this and that but always remember to just go with the flow and do your obligation--to study well and have fun. Your parents maybe tough sometimes but I believe their support and understanding will always be there. Always remember too that there are some things which are not already in our control. Though, you must also consider some expectations toward you but don't feel so bad if that didn't happen because if one thing is really meant for you, no doubt, it would be completely yours.

4. Have trust, faith and patience.
Achieving something especially if it's big will not happen in just a snap. When you're trying, always remember to have these three: trust, faith and patience. Not just for yourself but also to the people who surround you. There will be a lot of times that you will feel bad towards yourself, feels like giving up but everything that happens is for you to learn a lesson which will be your weapon in the future.

5. Pray
The simple yet most important thing to do--to pray. Ask for His guidance, surrender to Him everything that you do. God's power and greatness are more powerful than any problems, trials and obstacles you've encountered and will be encountering.

Give your best. But if your best wasn't good enough, at least you did something. Rather than sitting there and waiting for nothing.

#PrayForThePhilippines

These days have been so hard for the Philippines. Not just for the people who had been affected by the super typhoon Yolanda (6 days ago) in Visayas but for all the Filipino people. Our faith and trust to God were truly tested. Scenes and reports from the different networks were really heartbreaking. Literally heartbreaking. Honestly, they were depressing most especially when you couldn't comfort them right away.

But, it is amusing to know that many organizations, companies and individuals even from different countries helped immediately. The care of each and everyone just proved that we all have this "bayanihan" spirit. God is really working in His own ways. He sends these angels to help those victims of Yolanda.

You know, we should and could help. Even in the smallest way. You really don't have to pledge 1M pesos to Red Cross. Just send your stuff to a garage sale which will be helping the victims is already a big thing. Sending some medicines, clothes, food and water could help a lot of people. I'm sure your parents and family would help you. After all, it is better to give than to receive. A helping hand is all we need now.

Here are some ways on how you could help:

Still, amazing on how the Filipino people came out together even the whole world. I guess that's the "bayanihan" spirit all about. Do your part. All we need is a helping hand and a big heart.

KathDevotees is love!

Some things happen unexpectedly. What happened to me last September and October was just so overwhelming. I didn't expect this. I wasn't even prepared. Hahaha! As you all know, I posted my blog post about Kathryn Bernardo on my birthday last September. To share you, I wasn't really expecting anything from her fans, really. I didn't do that just to be famous or get noticed, I just wanted to express how much I love and adore Kath. Nothing else.

The love and appreciation they gave me were surreal. I swear, I was so touched because of each and everyone. KathDevotees proved me that they love each and everyone who loves Kath.

I admire KathDevotees for being so classy, fierce and loyal to the teen queen. I love how they update through their Twitter account. I love how they speak in English. I love how they treat each member as family. I love their header, their bio. Everything!

The admins are so so so kind and sweet. I even got so shocked when Ate Bev, one of the head admins. She tweeted me after Santi came, so I felt so happy after that devastating time. Especially when she told me that they'll be showing my blog post to Kath. Gosh! I. Feel. So. Happy. The members are so thoughtful. No kidding.

Yesterday, KD celebrated their first anniversary. And of course, how could I ever forget to tweet them? To all KDs, happy happy first anniversary! You guys are blessings for me. Kath's magic is indeed powerful. You deserve all the love in the world! Hope this blog post will make you realize that even more. I love you all so much! Thank you for everything! All the love for Teen Queen!

The Despicable Guy

Summit Media always gives me a good and hard time as well. I'm happy because they do great job when it comes to publishing Wattpad stories but I always get being a poor girl! Hahaha! Anyway, reading becomes my first love again aside from fangirling. Hihi.

To be honest, it was my first to read The Despicable Guy because obviously I wasn't able to read it on Wattpad. So when I was choosing which book to buy, I decided to buy this because I was also curious about its story.

And goodness, the book was so touching. The lines were captivating, each line will make you feel something. Seriously. I had felt so many emotions that time, I almost forgot the world. Naks.

It was also the first time that a story got me so teary eyed. You really feel that true love exists. You will realize and it will make you believe that someone is really meant for you. I don't know but that's what I felt after reading it.

You will also realize that there is a world, not just you and your lover. And that you must always consider the things around you, not just your relationship. The story has a lot of lessons to learn from.

You must grab a copy now. As in, right now. The price is 195php and it's worth all your time and money. Kudos to Leng De Chavez for this amazing story! Two thumbs up! It is available in all bookstores nationwide!

Love is a special thing. But you must open your heart also to be loved.

The Bet

These days, FYI, I don't really know what to do. As you guys know, our city is still recovering from typhoon Santi so some establishments and even the electricity are still on the recovery mode.

But thank God that yesterday, we were able to visit the mall (it felt like the first time hahaha), and I immediately went to NBS. But sadly, the books I have been looking for aren't yet available in the store. Though gladly, the BookSale branch has a copy of The Bet. BUT, only one copy was left so I thought that maybe the copy was really meant for me. Hihi.

I wasn't able to read that book afterwards because there was no longer light, so I decided to read it today. And I'm proud to say that I finished it. I am not saying that the book is thin, in fact, Summit Media amazes me again because the book has 200+ pages! I guess the reason why I finished it just this day because I couldn't actually take my hands off the book, really. I wasn't able to read it on Wattpad so the story was new to me. The story itself is moving and wonderful.

Kuddos to its author, Kimberly Villanueva, the story is not a boring and not that typical. I swear, each chapter will make you excited. I promise.

I know it's painful and sad that you are the pawn on a bet but this story indeed will still make you know and will make you feel how happy it is to be loved by someone.

The book itself teaches lessons too. That's why it is worth your time and money.

I must say, if you don't do anything right now, better have a copy of this book already! It's 195php and really worth every peso!!!

Don't make Drake wait, baby. *winks*

Tour 2K13

Yup, it was that time of the year again. An event where almost every student is excited about, full of plans with friends and even teachers. A day wherein you just ride in the bus together with your classmates to the point that you feel infinite. Naks.

This year's tour was not as special as last year's (my real friends know why), the destinations were also not that exciting, BUT, that day became special together with my friends. We went to Manila and only to Manila, same old destinations but having your friends with you is just surreal.

The first stop was Manila Ocean Park, to be honest, it was my first time there but I had already seen photos from inside before so the place was not kinda new to me anymore. But somehow, I appreciate it because I love the water and I know how to swim. (Yes, I musy get proud)

Second, we ate in Mall Of Asia. At first, we didn't know where to eat because we were saving our money but my friends ended up in Greenwich while I ended up eating at Pancake House. Hahaha! Didn't regret a thing, though. Pork Vienna has always been the best. I also wanted to buy Nike Free Trainer shoes but I had no money for it. Guess, I should be taking my mother with me when I visit a Nike store again.

Third one, we went to Aliw Theater to watch The Pirate (a ballet play). Honestly, it was really good although many student just slept inside the theater. Lol. The ballerinas were amazing!

Last one was.. Star City. I don't have much to talk about in here because I was just able to ride in Vikings but that ride never fails to make me shout real hard. I was almost crying. Haha!

All in all, I had fun.. Together with my friends. I'm happy to be able to add more memories for my Throwback when the day comes. :)

Looking forward for next year's! Sana naman hindi na kami sa Manila nanaman!
