Fully Booked!

If there's one place I love more than home & school, that would be a bookstore. Specifically, Fully Booked.

Whenever I am there, I feel like I'm already home.. with the awesome books which surround me.

The staffs are well-trained, friendly and lovable toward their customers. Reasons why every reader loves to buy their books there.

Also, their Facebook & Twitter accounts are indeed very useful! Lucy has always been nice to me. I know she knows that I love her!

I don't visit their Fort branch that much, I often visit the one which is located at SM North Edsa. Nonetheless, I still love visiting any of their branches! Like I've mentioned, I always feel like I am already home.. with the books.

So I want all of you to feel at home too! And lucky us, it's a great time to visit their Fort branch! Since it is turning 6 years, Fully Booked branch has a gift for you (even though it the branch's birthday!)!!

Starting July 12 to July 15, 20% discount applies to regular items (D-Coded) only. CDs, DVDs, local, consigned and N-Coded are not included in the sale.

What a great way to start the weekend!!! See you all there! :)

Every day is a blessing day

My title post explains it. I am indeed a blessed person, blessed by a great God. Since the day I became a Grade 8 student, everything went out unexpectedly. To share, I was elected as the president of our class. But that was so special for me because it was my very first time to become a president. Awesome, isn't it?! Just the thought that almost all my classmates voted for me was already a great blessing, to think some of them didn't even know me or if ever they just knew me by my name. I just realized you appreciate more a blessing when you didn't even plan nor expect for it to come. Nonetheless, we should always appreciate what God gives us.

Though of course, there were days that seemed to be the hardest ones, I am still forever thankful to have been blessed by God. As the saying goes, "You learn more when you experience the hardest days." Indeed, I learned what I think God wants me to learn. And I'm praying He will help me to apply them in my life.

Just when July came, God gave me another opportunity again, another blessing, another dream that I had been wishing and praying for a long time. How I wish I could post about it right now but I will when the right time comes. Hehehe (feeling artista :p) I am also very thankful that one of my hobbies (blogging) helped me a lot. I am now a Feature writer of our school paper organ! Yay! I guess there's nothing wrong to tell about it because I am just proud of myself and very happy! I know you guys understand :D

EVERY DAY IS A BLESSING DAY--Even when you feel like you don't even receive a gift from God, we should always remember that we are very blessed. Now, you're reading this, isn't it a great blessing? No matter how big or small gift comes to us, we shall always be thankful enough.

"God gives you 86,400 seconds a day. Have you uttered "Thank You" to him?"

There's nothing wrong to talk about real talk sometimes. It has always been great to share wisdom to others.

P.S.: I can hardly wait for our Student's Night to come! That will be happening on Friday so I'm pretty much excited :) Will blog about it this weekend!!! :) :) :)

Sophie's Mom is love! <3

If there's any food aside from my family members' specialties which makes me happy plus my tummy go crazy--that would be a cupcake.

So I am very merry (yep!) because Sophie's Mom indeed never fails to make me happy every time I get the chance to taste their super yummy (I am not being exagge!) pastries especially their red velvet ones!!!

They are just so delicious to the point that you might forget what your name is. Seriously.

Plus, what I love the most about Sophie's Mom is because of the great love from a mother. Mommy Tonette's children are very lucky to have a mom who's very sweet in and out of the kitchen! One of the best moms I've ever known! Kuddos to you, Mommy Tonette!

And because we all love Sophie's Mom, your wish is granted! Another branch coming up at Mckinley Hill, Bonifacio High Street! Isn't it so awesome?! I am just hoping they will have a branch located in the near provinces also! *fingers crossed*

Just this picture makes me drool. LOL.
Treat yourself, your family and friends at Sophie's Mom! Or if you're on a diet, have your cheat day at Sophie's Mom too! Check out their Facebook page: Sophie's Mom and you can follow them on Twitter: @sophiesmomph!!!

HaveYouSeenThisGirL books!

You first read/saw the story of Eya Rodriguez on Wattpad but now.. It is already a published book! Yes, the story that has one of the most-number-of-reads stories, one of the most favorites and the story which made a lot of people laugh.. No other than, the Diary ng Panget by HaveYouSeenThisGirL!

I was one of the readers who first saw/read it on Wattpad and to share you, it was the first story ever that I actually slept around 5:30am because I couldn't stop myself from reading it. Seriously.

For me, the story is not just a kakilig story that is mainly for girls specifically, teenagers. But just like what HYSTG's description.. It is a story that is for everybody. The story makes you feel loved, happy and it actually moves you (because I bet you're laughing like you'll die tomorrow--or siguro niyuyugyog mo na ang katabi mo sa kakatawa OR SOBRANG KILIG) and I guess those are some of the reasons why every reader loves it! (Tell me why do you love HYSTG's DNP! Let's chit-chat @beajbsacdalan! I'd love to hear your opinions/stories as well! I'm really a fan of HYSTG so I'd be happy to be friends with some of her readers!)

That is why I was super glad & excited that the book is now published and available in all leading bookstores NATIONWIDE!  Plus, it also became 2 books! Great, isn't it?
(Credits: @pandayancomph)

Lastly, I love it simply because I love and adore the author as much as I do for the book. Ate Denny is one of my inspirations to pursue my dreams and one of them is to have a book published as well. (It is just a dream for now hehe) She is very down-to-earth and friendly to all her readers! She deserves all these--having published books, DNP being the top bestseller, having many fans/readers who truly adore her. How I wish she will have a book signing in Manila. Even if I live in Nueva Ecija, I'll do whatever it takes just to have her unique signature written on my books. Love you, Ate Denny!

Anyway, back to the book, I really tried my best to stop myself from being a spoiler on this post but I just want to say that.. I love Chad Jimenez so much! (Okay, please don't get me wrong--I know Cross Sandford is the guy main character--I love him also of course but my heart says that I love Chad more. Hehehe :p)

And also, the story She Died by HYSTG that made me cried, made me think and made me laugh as well will have a manga adaptation! According to Ate Denny, it will be published on September! YAY!!! Let's all support this, guys!
(Illustrated by: Enjelicious)

The Diary ng Panget by HaveYouSeenThisGirL Books 1 & 2 are available in all leading bookstores NATIONWIDE for only PHP 150.00 each!

Follow the DNP official publisher, @OfficialPsicom and Ate Denny as well--@diarynidenny. You may also reach them on Facebook, just like the official pages of PSICOM Publishing, Inc. and HaveYouSeenThisGirL Stories if you have questions and concerns regarding the books.

She's Dating The Gangster book!

Okay, I am probably one of those readers who got it so late. Blame the people who always make it sold-out. Kidding!

The book is really so good and well-written, maybe the reasons why whenever I go to the bookstores, it was always out-of-stock. Anyway, it is never too late for it, right?!

But let me share you how I got a copy. It was really hilarious. Here it goes: We went to a mall to celebrate my tito's birthday at Mang Inasal. Then my friends have been telling me that the National Bookstore there got so many copies of She's Dating The Gangster book so I tried my luck. I felt very happy and excited when I saw A LOT of copies of the book! It was like seeing a stall with lots of chocolate but in this case, SDTG books are on the shelf together with other awesome books. So what do you expect, I grabbed a copy instantly!
(So sad Diary ng Panget book was already out-of-stock. *sighs*)

When I went to the cashier to pay for the book, I handed it to the lady together with the money (150.00php). Then she told me, "Ma'am, 175php po ito." I really didn't know why I forgot that it was 175php, not 150php! Oh no, am I getting so old or what?! LOL. But when I searched extra money on my bag (I am not a person who likes to have a wallet), I HAD NO PAPER BILLS LEFT. Though luckily, I found some coins! But I wasn't that sure if my coins were exactly 25php so I told to the cashier that I'll be right back and cancel the purchase. Btw, the 150php was given to me by my lola, I told her I'm gonna buy a book that is really important for me! When I got back to Mang Inasal, I wasn't able to tell immediately that my money wasn't enough. Reason? Because I'm afraid they might get angry at me for not HAVING EXTRA MONEY BILL left from my allowance. Do you guys experience this sometimes?? I'm just so poor, I know. HAHA. Having no money left for the future is really a no-no. Lesson learned, at least.

To make the very long story (lol) short, I wasn't able to buy the book because when I already had enough money.. The bookstore had already closed that time. Ouch.

But the next day, I made it sure to come back at the bookstore again (thank God, our school allows us to go outside for lunch). YAY!!! Finally had a copy! :p

Back to the book.. Just like what most people tell about it.. My heart broke and I almost cried.. again. A book that makes you feel different emotions.. A book which you couldn't take your hands off, even if you already finished reading it. Yes, I was one of the readers who first saw/read it on Wattpad, I know there were some scenes that Bianca B. didn't include in the book anymore but kuddos to her, the story remained so good and touching!

Really as in really, the book is worth your 175php not 150php. (Hahaha! Medyo eng-eng ako) One of the books that is definitely worth your time! Hands down to you, Ate Bianca!

The book is still available at all leading bookstores nationwide for only 175php! Like the official fanpage of Ate Bianca on Facebook: Bianca Bernardino. If you have already a copy, buy it again and have it as your gift for your ate, kuya, bestfriend, boyfriend, girlfriend.. Or to whoever you want to share this wonderful book with! Remember, it is not too late.

Definitely a book that will forever remain in our hearts!
