My-oh-so-boy-friends

I am more than sure that all of you have a boy or guy friend/bestfriend out there. That someone who is not your BOYFRIEND but your BOY FRIEND. Yup, that's two different things. To share you, I am an only child though I have step siblings on my father side, I haven't met them yet due to personal reasons. So basically, I grew up without siblings but boy cousins of course.. Plus boy-friends.

And these past few days, I have been spending a lot of time with them, or maybe they are really the ones who sit beside me. Hahaha! Or am I the one?! Lol.

There's actually no problem about it because they are your friends--no matter what gender it is, they are your friends. But I guess the situation sometimes gets complicated whenever you are spending too much time with them more than your girl-friends. And that moment when people are becoming (too) judgemental to the point that whenever you're with different boy (friend) or with them by group, people will probably say that you're such a flirty girl. Yup, reality, isn't it?! Then after the girl has heard someone called her that, she will either cut the communication at all or ignore them at school.

Luckily, I haven't heard someone yet who called me that even my friends haven't heard from someone also. But the point is, it's like someone who judges you by your face--are you gonna be affected by it? This may sound like for 11-12yo but sometimes we actually do experience being affected by someone else's opinion.

But no way in earth you should  ignore them just because of other people's opinion! As long as you know yourself you DON'T DO EXTRA EXTRA SILLY THINGS (silly things become more exciting whenever you're with your boy friends haha), YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF. But of course, you must also know your limitations.

I am blessed to have true boy friends. Those guys who are willing to comfort me and treat me like a real sister!

No matter if you're just a friend or one of the boys, you must be proud. Because I'm telling you, honestly, true boy friends ARE SO HARD TO FIND.

I know I am not that blessed when it comes to having a real boyfriend (plus I don't like to have one just yet), I am super lucky to have these boys! <3

Carpe diem! Don't hesitate to tell your friends how much you love and treasure them!

Royale Weekend!

First of all, I'm really sad because when we got back from Tagaytay, my charger got lost. So I couldn't post about our Tagaytay trip because almost all the pictures were there. Thankful to have friends who have an iPhone 5 charger (this case needs to emphasize), I was able to charge mine.

Yup, as I've mentioned, we went in Tagaytay to celebrate my tita Kaye (mom's sis)'s birthday and I think she just made one of the best decisions ever! Hahaha! We really missed there because we don't go there that often. So I wasn't the only one who really enjoyed even the whole family did.

We checked-in at Royale Estates, Tagaytay. Then after that, ate at Dencio's late that night.

The next day which was Sunday, my cousins just enjoyed the swimming pool while me and my ate enjoyed their free massage! And I must say, that was the best!

What I love the most about Tagaytay is its cuddle weather. You just feel relaxed also with the big trees which surround you.

Then, we enjoyed the buffet of the hotel for lunch. Their singers also serenaded us.

After that, we went to Nuvali to visit the lot my tito and tita bought at the Avida Parkway Settings but sadly I wasn't able to take pictures   because it was too windy that time.

Indeed, we felt like it was really a royale weekend. I miss Tagaytay and I just can't wait to come back!

Student's Night: Defying Extremes

Last night (July 12) was the second time I attended a different kind of night for every high school students specifically the Scielinians--the Student's Night.

This year's theme was really awesome, though, I must say the first time will always be the best (and the last, maybe). Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. A night to treasure.

"Defying Extremes. Study Hard. Party Harder." Sounds so cool, right? I know.

So sorry, I wasn't able to take a lot of photos because first of all, I was sitting so far from the stage and it was so dark, I couldn't take photos properly.

I will just write down what happened. Hahaha! The night started with a National Anthem, Doxology by one of our seniors Ate Gelie Villaflores (she is really a good dancer!), performance from the Baglan CCP with a script that if that person really loves you, he will love you even your imperfections. True enough. Our Scielinian Glee Club also performed plus the Sci-Hi Dance Troupe which opened the dance floor.

YES, I really enjoyed. Like what happened the first time, I just danced myself to death. But no one of the guys danced with me. Well, it's okay. At least I know no one is willing enough (yuck, drama?!). Hahaha!

Then after that sitting-kasi-bored-wala-kasing-kasayaw, I went home at 12AM. I really would like to finish the party but I needed to go home because we were going to Manila by 6AM

"Guy: Isasayaw kita ah. *Sa Student's Night* Guy: *snob*" Reality. Medyo bitter. LOL.

The Student's Night is one of the most awaited events every school year. Indeed, you feel relaxed and happy for a while (because after that long tests are coming).

To all high school students, enjoy and I hope your enjoyed your party!

Christmas in July!

One thing why I love the most about being a GSP (Girl Scouts of the Philippines) is that I get the chance to give something to others. Community service, it is. I even more feel blessed and thankful every time I give and then the kids will say "thank you" in their sweetest voice.

So I am very happy that the GSP Officers in our school (Honorato C. Perez Sr. Memorial Science High School) conducted a gift giving program or also known as "Christmas in July." Indeed, sharing blessings to others knows no time and no place as long as you're willing enough to share them.

As part of the program, we visited 5 elementary schools that are located within Cabanatuan City. I am very thankful also to have been selected as one of the Girl Scouts to donate goodies for the kids. Being with the principal, head teacher, GSP advisers plus other GSP including Ate Eunice, Ate Pamela and Ate Bianca was really memorable and unforgettable one.

Our first stop was Cabu Elementary School. Students there are really thoughtful. Plus the Principal was really accommodating. We got the chance to taste their yummy siomai and arroz caldo!!!

(These two boys even requested to me to take a photo of them. How adorbs!)

Second stop was Bagong Buhay Elementary School. In this stop, I was the one who gave away the donations. I felt so much overwhelmed. Love the kids so much.

The third & last destinations were awesome, I got the chance to have conversations with the kids. I will surely come back.

(The kids singing thank you very much to all of us!)

And don't forget us, loving selfie shots a lot!

Thank You God for another experience! Looking forward to attend more gift giving!

Be blessed and thankful. Give blessings to others.

Throwback Thursday <3

Just to get in to the trend, I'll be posting some of my pictures which are very important for me that happened just years or months ago. Kidding. But no kidding, while I was having a hard time to sleep the other night, I was thinking about the wonderful memories I've had. Since they are very much inportant for me, I'd like to share them with you.

God indeed gave me a great 2012. Though, I could not conclude that it was my best year, I felt so blessed and thankful. Just the first 6 months of 2013 have been doing great so far.

First on my list is my Graduation Day 2012.

After years of studying, I could finally relate myself to students who graduated from elementary. Though, on the other side, I still have many years to fulfill to be able to call myself really a "graduate", I am still happy to  have been able to complete the basic curriculum. Now, I am on my 2nd year and still has 4 years to get in to college. Just the thought of it makes me lazy. Err.

Second is my vacation.
No summer getaways, big parties, country hopping but it was one of the most relaxing vacations I've had. I just spent most of the days in Manila, hoarding the internet, eating a lot like a pig and going to mall. Now, you agree on me?
(Puro ganyan lang hahaha)

Third is my first day of being a Scielinian.
Though I sure made a lot of mistakes and endless faults during my 1st year, I am still proud of myself. I just couldn't help but smile whenever I remember the memories I've had back then. Yeah, even the bad ones. Truly, the good and bad experiences become nothing but memories. Memories that are worth keeping.

Fourth one is my first ever Acquiantance party which happened August last year.
Don't get me wrong but it felt like I was on a party but with "young grown-ups" people. I didn't know what to do at first but when the DJ started the party, I just danced myself to death. Hahaha. But when the slow dance began, I remembered I was just sitting in one of the chairs. Huhuhu. (Loner ang peg! Wala kasi gusto magsayaw!) It was really memorable not just because it was the Student's Night but because I also got the chance to see the "funny" side of the teachers. And thank goodness my lola allowed me to go home by 12AM! Now I am getting more excited to attend this year's!

Fifth is when I celebrated my birthday last September, it was really special. Of course every birthday is special but this one was one of the bests, primarily because it was the first time I invited friends to come at our house.

The last one just happened last December.
My very first Educational Tour as a high school student and as well a Scielinian. Yup, obviously, almost everything that had happened last year were my firsts. Okay back to the main topic, our destinations were really great including of course the most exciting one--Enchanted Kingdom. Yes, I had been there even before the tour but indeed being at EK with your friends just becomes more exciting. Tilian, sigawan, hampasan, it is! Everything seemed surreal.

Those were just some of the many memories I've had. And to finish this, don't feel so bad whenever you're encountering bad experiences because later on.. They will be memories that will make you stronger and happier than ever. And with the good ones, let us all be thankful that God allows us to experience those. Okay, my mind seems too tired today. Hahaha! Carpe diem! Love and cherish every moment! <3

Never stop creating memories.
